Membership

One physician. A small practice. Your health, unhurried.

This is a membership-based primary care practice, sometimes called concierge medicine. The idea is simple: instead of a physician carrying thousands of patients, I keep the practice deliberately small, so every member gets what modern medicine rarely allows anyone: time, attention, and a doctor who actually knows them.

What membership means

  • A physician who knows you. Not your chart. You. Your history, your family, your work, what you actually care about. That knowledge is the most powerful diagnostic instrument in medicine.
  • Unhurried visits. Appointments are as long as your health needs them to be. We finish the conversation.
  • Direct access. When something worries you, you reach me. Your physician, not a call center.
  • Prevention as the agenda. Most of medicine's real victories happen years before a diagnosis. A small practice has the time to look ahead: risk assessment, screening done on schedule, and the habits that quietly decide the next thirty years.
  • Metabolic expertise built in. Obesity medicine is a particular focus of mine, so weight and metabolic health are handled inside your primary care whenever you want them to be. More on how I practice →

Where the practice will be

The practice will be based in Brooklyn, New York, with a second location in Greenwich, Connecticut under consideration. Telehealth will be part of how members are seen from the start, so a question does not always require a trip across town.

When it opens

I am building this deliberately rather than quickly, and I plan to begin accepting members in 2028. Until then I am forming the founding member list, and the people on it will be the first offered a place when the panel opens.

How membership works

Membership is an annual fee for the relationship itself: the time, the access, and the continuity that ordinary practices cannot afford to give. Planned to include:

  • Same-day and next-day availability when you need to be seen.
  • Direct messaging with me, not a call center or a portal queue.
  • Unrushed appointments, scheduled with enough room to finish the conversation.
  • Help navigating referrals, so specialist care is arranged and followed up rather than handed to you as a phone number.
  • Care coordinated across everything, including metabolic health and weight if you want it addressed.

One important clarification: membership does not replace your health insurance. It does not bill as insurance and is not a substitute for it. You keep your existing coverage for laboratory work, imaging, specialists, medications, and hospital care. What the fee buys is the personalized approach: a physician with a small enough panel to actually practice this way.

Exact pricing and the final list of what is included are still being set, and I would rather publish them once than revise them three times. They will appear here as soon as they are settled.

If you would like a place on the founding member list, join it here and I will keep you posted personally.
